Vacant Position for Executive Director At Leadership Institute, (Nig).

Leadership Institute a non-partisan non- governmental organization with headquarters in Jos Nigeria seeks to employ an executive Director to run the institute’s nationwide programs. The successful applicant will be based in Jos Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Defining the mission of the leadership Institute and the realization of its vision
• Head of the Administration and responsible to the Board of Trustees and for the day to day execution of its mandate.
• Tracking policy developments in relevant areas and should be conversant with and lead the preparation of leadership and other types of grant proposals.
• Supervision and mentorship of subordinate staff
• Publishing of books, articles, policy briefs, blogs and audio visuals targeted to policy makers, academics and the general public.
• Teaching of leadership courses and conducting of seminars, webinars and workshops.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in the social sciences or humanities, with over seven year’s cognate experience.
• Ph.D. in the social sciences or humanities with 4 years cognate experience.
• Evidence of research in the application of quantitative and qualitative methods in identifying practical problems and action –oriented solutions.
• Excellent leadership skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
